Dr John Tseng
Dr. Tseng is one of the most popular doctors in Berwick. His thorough and hardworking attitude has earned him the repect of fellow colleagues and patients. He is always ready to listen and does his best to provide the highest quality care to each one of his patients.
Dr. Tseng has special interests in laser acupuncture, paediatrics, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, age care (home visits and nursing home work) and chronic disease management (e.g. diabetes, asthma,…etc.). He has also had ENT (ear, nose and throat), psychiatric and emergency medicine training.
Dr Tseng has been practicing medicine in Australia since 2002. Through his experience over the last nine years, he has been able to understand patients needs and care for them effectively. He can speak fluently in English, Mandarin Chinese and Hokang, enabling him to work with patients from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
His Christianity belief is what motivated him to establish this medical practice. He wanted to bless the Woodleigh Water community and beyond with his medical knowledge and treat the patients with a love and dedication that only comes from Jesus Christ.
Outside the clinic, Dr Tseng is a dedicated father to three children and a loving husband. He loves spending time with his family and enjoys photography and playing tennis.

Dr Jayanthi Murali Manohar
Dr. Jayanthi brings with her years of experience, having worked with Western Health at Footscray, Sunshine and Williamstown hospitals for upto 5 years .
Dr. Jayanthi has a keen interest in Women’s health, being trained at Family Planning Victoria, where she received her certificate in Sexual and Reproductive Health. She can assist with contraceptive options, Implanon insertion and removals ,STI checks, and menopause related issues.
Dr. Jayanthi holds a Diploma in Child Health from Westmead hospital , NSW and can address any children health issues.
She could speak English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu
Dr Sharmini Amalan
Since 1998, Dr Amalan has worked in the NHS, as a SHO and then a registrar in a number of hospitals across UK. She completed her Post Graduate Vocational training in General Practice in UK and continued to work as a GP in North West London from 2004. She is a member of Royal College of General Practice, UK.
Dr Amalan has also obtained her Fellowship in Royal Australian College of General Practice in June 2012.
Dr Amalan's special areas of interest include Women's Health, Paediatrics, Geriatrics and General Medicine. She is also interested in preventative health and teaching in primary care. She was involved in teaching Medical students and registrars while working in UK.
Dr Amalan can also communicate in Tamil and Sinhalese.
Dr Htay Htay Aung
Dr AUNG graduated from Institute of Medicine (1), Yangon, Myanmar. She arrived Australia in 2005. She completed her residency training in Alice Springs Hospital where she achieved diploma in child health and diploma in Obstetric and Gynecology. She joined Southern GP Training based in Gippsland area and was awarded her Fellowship in Royal Australian College of General Practice in 2012.
Dr Aung enjoys the whole spectrum of general practice and is interested particularly in preventive medicine, general medicine and women and child’s health.
She could speak English and Burmese.
Dr Farzana Mazid
Dr. Farzana Mazid is a female general practitioner (GP). She completed her Bachelor of Medicine & Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 2005. She began her career in Australia in 2008 as an SHMO at Southern Health Network (Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong hospital and Casey Hospital). She completed her GP training under Victorian Metropolitan Alliance and obtained her Fellowship of Royal Australian College of General Practitioner (FRACGP) in 2014.
She speaks fluently in English and Bangla.

Dr. Yi Emily Wang
MBBS, PhD, FRACGP, DRANZCOG, ACEM-EMC
Dr Wang is a RACGP fellow and a formal Obstetrician and Gynecologist in China. Obtained her PhD with the University of Melbourne, Dr, Wang had completed GP training and worked in varied rural General Practices across regional Victoria. Dr Wang is keen on providing holistic care to the community and capable of providing expertise care in Women Heath and emergency.
Dr. Wang provides consultation in both English and Mandarin.
Dr Zarli Kyaw
Oringinally from Myanmar(Burma), Dr Zarli graduated from the Institute of Medicine in 2004 after which he went to UK for post graduate studies. He then migrated to Australia in 2007 to gain experience in various medical and surgical fields by working as a junior doctor at different hospitals across Australia until 2011 when he decided to become a General Practitioner. He completed training with Southern GP training in Gippsland region and obtained fellowship of The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in January 2014. Armed not only with vast medical knowledge to deal with chronic complex diseases including but not limited to diabetes, asthma and skin conditions/cancer but also special skill set to perform removal of lumps, bumps, toe nails or skin cancers requiring complex flap repairs, he is committed to help patients. In his spare time, apart from snuggling up with a good book or watching a good movie, he enjoys spending time with his son.
Dr Phyo Min Thein
Dr Thein is a fellow of Royal Australian College of General practice with over a decade experience providing all aspects of medical practice in Australia.
Dr Thein has a keen interest in men’s, women’s and children’s health; mental health and health assessments; chronic disease management; T.A.C. and Work-related injuries, trauma management and skin cancer management and much more. Dr Thein also holds a Diploma in Child Health awarded by The Sydney Children’s Hospital Network and The University of Sydney.
He speaks both English and Burmese.
